With Password Reset Suite, users can retrieve password from their computer. They do not have to access computers of other users or a shared computer to recover forgotten password for using the self-service web portal. Interface of the Password Reset Suite can integrate with the existing environment. This allows end-users to access the portal and login to AD integrated system with the recovered password.
AD Self Service Password Reset provides the following login interfaces to reset password/change password and unlock account:
GINA/Credential Provider can be customized by users to reset their forgotten password and unlock account even from their Windows login screen. JiJi Technologies Password Reset Suite’s GINA/Credential Provider supports up to Windows 8.1.
GINA/Credential Provider can be installed in the end-user’s machine through Group Policy. The setup process and other required steps for deploying GINA via GPO will be available in Password Self Service Suite’s Admin web portal.
